Karachi (Daily Pakistan Online): Dania Anwar, Famous Pakistani actress who began her career in 2016, has won audiences over with her performance in the hit drama serial “Jaan Nisaar” and her appearance on the reality show “Tamasha”. Recently, Dania returned from the reality show and shared personal insights during her appearance on a morning show.
According to details, while discussing her divorce, Dania revealed that though she has no regrets about her decisions, her first divorce was a challenging experience. “People say, ‘Just get a divorce; it’s easy,’ but it’s incredibly hard. Thankfully, I had a strong support system, and my family stood by me through it all,” she said.
She further explained that initially, she kept her struggles hidden from her family. However, as circumstances worsened, she had no choice but to reveal what was happening. She disclosed that her ex-husband had started using drugs, including heroin, which made their relationship toxic. “But the real issue wasn’t just drugs — it was his abusive behavior toward me,” she said, adding that he would mistreat her emotionally and physically, especially when she asked for financial support, as he wasn’t earning.
She Said “When I met my current husband, he seemed like a genuinely kind person. Before getting married, we involved our children in the process, and when they felt comfortable, they themselves encouraged me to marry him.”
Dania Anwar said, “We are now like a family, and my husband considers the children his responsibility. During my time on the reality show, he took excellent care of them in my absence.”
