Waqar Naseem Wamiq, Riyadh – The second edition of the Saudi Film Confex has commenced in Saudi Arabia, attracting a large number of individuals involved in filmmaking. Participants are exchanging new technologies and experiences related to film production.
The event was inaugurated in the capital city of Riyadh by Prince Badar bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Saudi Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Film Commission.
On this occasion, he stated that Saudi Arabia aims to become an international hub for film production, with various projects currently underway.
The Film Confex features producers, film and TV artists, experts, and filmmakers.
Various stalls showcasing modern technology in filmmaking have been set up, drawing significant attention.
The Saudi Ministry of Culture has stated that the Film Confex aligns with Vision 2030 and the national cultural strategy, aiming to increase investment opportunities and partnerships.
