Riyadh (by Waqar Naseem Wamiq) A farewell ceremony was held in Saudi Arabia in honour of Sheikh Arshad, the Sales and Marketing Manager of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on completion of his 32 years long and brilliant tenure. The event was attended by PIA officials and Pakistani community members who paid tribute to his services.
The farewell event, organized by Muhammad Bilal Ahmed, the Manager of PIA’s Riyadh region, marked Sheikh Arshad’s retirement.
The ceremony was attended by Country Manager Jan Muhammad Mehar and other prominent figures from the Pakistani community.
Sheikh Arshad expressed his gratitude, stating that he had served PIA in Saudi Arabia for over three decades, fostering professional and social relationships within the Pakistani community. He appreciated the cooperation and affection he received from his compatriots.
Muhammad Bilal Ahmed and Country Manager Jan Muhammad Mehr praised Sheikh Arshad for his dedicated and exemplary service, noting that PIA as an institution would never forget his contributions.
Other attendees also lauded Sheikh Arshad’s social services, describing him as a beloved personality.
The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony.
