Islamabad (Pakistan News Online) PTCL Group has launched the fastest internet ever in Pakistan.

Daily Pakistan told citing hum News, PTCL Group has achieved a major milestone by launching the country’s first 800 Gb/s Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) system developed in collaboration with Huawei. Users will be able to benefit from the fastest internet.

According to the company, this innovative technology is capable of transmitting data at 64 TB per second per fiber with the potential to reach 96 TB per second and is a major step forward for Pakistan’s digital infrastructure.

The Super C+L system developed in collaboration with Huawei supports a wider optical spectrum up to THz 12 compared to THz 4.8 provided by conventional systems.

This technology combines high-speed 800 GB per second per wavelength, ultra-wide super C+L spectrum and advanced flexible-grade optical switching.

This development puts PTCL at the forefront of the country’s digital landscape, preparing the network for future technologies such as fixed 5.5G and enabling faster, better and more efficient internet connectivity.
