Islamabad (Pakistan News Online) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat broke his silence on the news circulating on social media about being poisoned during police detention.

In his video message, Sher Afzal Marwat says that I have lost 10 times my weight due to all the diseases I am currently suffering from, but there is no truth in the news that I have been poisoned. Nothing like that has come out in medical tests. When the Islamabad police detained me illegally and when I was released on bail, the next day I was infected with corona.

PTI leader says that I want to keep the truth in front of the people that I have emphasized on the release of the founder PTI Imran Khan and the supremacy of democracy, my health did not support me due to which I did not participate in this protest. During the recent sit-ins and protests in the country, my health is being highlighted as an excuse.

He said that the courage of the Pakistanis was something to behold, which my eyes yearned to see, the way people were threatened after May 9 that they might not leave their homes but they rejected all the pressure.
