Sahiwal (Pakistan News online) Monitoring team of Sahiwal Arts Council took big action and famous actress Khoobsurat Kaif was banned for three months for performing obscene and vulgar dance.
Director, Punjab council of the arts Sahiwal Division told in his notification that during the monitoring by the assistant directors of Punjab council of the arts at Marian theatre, it has been found that the female artist named khubsoorat kaif was performing unethical, vulgar and obscene, which was against the SOPs of home department and full dress rehearsal of stage drama title “khushbu tere shehr di”.
The video recording of the said artist in DVD is also attached as proof of vulgarity, further stated.
It was recommended in the notification that the above mentioned artist may b banned for three months throughout the Punjab province.
A week earlier, the Arts Council had banned actress Noori Princess for performing an obscene dance in Friends Theater Sahiwal. Director Arts Council Dr. Riaz Hamdani says that the Punjab government has directed strict monitoring of stage plays to prevent obscenity, nudity, objectionable play, indecent dialogues, on which strict monitoring process will continue.
Instructions have been issued to the theaters to avoid obscene dance, nudity, lewd and mean dialogues and obscenity in the dramas being staged and to ensure adherence to rules and regulations.
