New York (Pakistan News Online) TikTok has simplified the process for creators to earn money by expanding its subscription feature to a broader audience. Previously available only to major content creators, the subscription feature now allows all eligible users to monetize their content through live and regular videos.
According to details, Under this updated program, creators aged 18 and above with at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the past year can now use the subscription option to earn through various types of content. This move is designed to make the monetization process more accessible to a wider range of creators.
Previously, the Live Subscription feature only allowed creators to earn through exclusive live videos, limiting it to a select group of larger creators. However, the new update opens up more opportunities, enabling eligible creators to earn not just from live content but also by sharing videos within groups and chats. This means creators can now charge subscribers for access to different types of content, including regular video posts.
TikTok, which introduced the Live Subscription feature in 2022 to compete with platforms like YouTube, has added three subscription tiers for creators to choose from, offering varied levels of access and benefits to subscribers. The feature aims to enhance engagement by allowing fans to directly support their favorite creators.
