Islamabad (Pakistan News Online) DG Passport has said that passport backlock has been removed in all major cities including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and the backlock of passports applied online from abroad has also been removed.
According to “Samaa TV”, DG Passport further said that there was a delay in the delivery of passports which was accepted as a challenge, we had limited resources related to printing, 65 thousand passports are processed daily, printing was being done 23 thousand per day.
He said that the shipment of new printers is expected to arrive in Pakistan in a month, with the arrival of new printers, the process of issuing passports will become completely normal.
