The Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced an amnesty scheme from September 1 to October 31, 2024. The two-month amnesty scheme, which runs until October 30, will allow violators to either regularize their status or leave the country without bans, fines or exit fees.
In the context of UAE amnesty 2024, the Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai are providing all possible assistance to its citizens.
According to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Pakistani citizens living in the UAE should ensure that they take full advantage of the amnesty scheme of the UAE government-
In this regard, the Embassy and Consulate General have taken measures for the convenience of the people. National Identity Cards (NICs), passport sections and verification services will remain open on Saturdays until the end of October 2024 to accommodate applicants who need to renew, update or validate their documents.

He said that Overstaying aliens seeking to take advantage of the amnesty program are encouraged to collect all necessary documents, including work permits, before approaching the relevant centers to regularize their status. This will help prevent delays in the process.

He added further that the amnesty program, which aims to correct the status of illegal residents without facing fines, sanctions or prosecution, also going to offer thousands of jobs by conducting spot interviews for illegal immigrants after legalizing their status, apart from this all the fines of those who sought amnesty have been waived-
Companies in the UAE will be able to process the labor cards of overstaying employees without any fines or penalties.
