Karachi (Pakistan News Online) Punjab Police have arrested one of the prime suspects involved in the murder of Ameer Balaj in Karachi.
According to private TV channel Hum News, suspect Gogi Butt was arrested near Burns Road and later detained by Punjab Police. DIG South Asad Raza, however, claimed that Karachi Police were not informed regarding the arrest of Butt.
It would be apt to mention here that on February 19, Ameer Balaj Tipu, son of Tipu Truckanwala, was killed and two others injured in a shooting at a wedding ceremony on Multan Road, Lahore. However, the attacker Muzaffar Hussain was killed on the spot by the gunmen of Ameer Balaj Tipu.
The murder of Ameer Balaj triggered the gang war in Lahore once again, After the incident Gogi butt and Tefi butt were named the prime suspect in a murder case and they both fled to avoid arrest.
A week ago a brother-in-law of Gulshan Tareef butt alias Tefi butt was killed near the FC underpass, canal road Lahore, and police have identified the shooters of Javed butt who was traveling in a jeep with his wife to pick up their children from school, but luckily children was not in the car.
