Karachi (Pakistan News Online) Natasha Danish Iqbal, the national girl accused of running over and killing a father-daughter duo in Karachi’s Karasaz area while driving under the influence of drugs has reached jail and stirred a controversy after photos of her behind the bars went viral.
Accoding to details, The incident occurred on August 19, when Natasha Iqbal, driving a Toyota Land Cruiser in an intoxicated state, fatally struck 60-year-old Imran Arif and his 22-year-old daughter Amina, while injuring three others.
Initial police investigations revealed that Danish was speeding, which led to the tragic accident. She was charged under Section 322 of the Pakistan Penal Code for culpable homicide and was subsequently remanded to jail for 14 days.
according to hungama express photos from within the jail have surfaced on social media. In one image, Danish is seen sitting on a bed in personal clothing, appearing serious. Another photo shows her smiling and posing with a female inmate.
The images suggest that Danish has access to various facilities in prison, including a fan, a comfortable bed, and even a television. A burqa can also be seen hanging on the wall.
The source of these photos is unknown, but their release has fueled speculation about preferential treatment in her detention. Public outrage has been exacerbated by the fact that Danish comes from a wealthy industrialist family, raising concerns about the fairness of her imprisonment.
She was arrested after the accident; she tested positive for methamphetamine, which proved she was using ice at the time of the accident. Her lawyer and doctor declared her a psychiatric patient in court during her first hearing. The psychiatric checkup that was later conducted in the court proved the opposite-that she has no mental problems.

Natasha, 32, holds both UK and Pakistani driving licenses and has been a prominent business figure. Her connection to Gul Ahmed has garnered attention due to her husband’s significant role as Chairman of Gul Ahmed Energy Limited.
