Shameful act in Europe, 3 players of Pakistan hockey team banned for life

Lahore (Pakistan News Online) Three players of Pakistan hockey team and physio have been banned for life after “slipping” in Poland.

According to Daily Pakistan, Secretary Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Olympian Rana Mujahid Ali said in a press conference that it is reported, these athletes have applied for political asylum.He said that the players were invited to the camp for preparations for the Asian Champions Trophy.

Murtaza Yaqoob, Ehtesham Aslam and Abdul Rahman were the three players with the team. Rana Mujahid Ali said that the three players apologized for coming to the camp by writing letters.

According to reports, the three players went abroad without NOC, so with the approval of the Congress, the three players and physio have been banned for life.

Secretary PHF said that we will write a letter to the Home Ministry for further action on the issue of these players.
It is noteworthy that the overseas players were part of the Karachi camp before the Azlan Shah Cup.
