Gujranwala (Pakistan News Online) In a tragic incident, a 19-year-old newlywed bride, Manahil, was allegedly killed by her in-laws in Gujranwala’s Kathiala Sheikhan area. The young woman had been married just four months ago.
According to the police, the victim’s mother has accused her daughter’s husband and in-laws of subjecting her to regular physical abuse due to ongoing marital disputes. The mother alleges that following a heated argument, her son-in-law strangled Manahil to death.
Law enforcement officials have confirmed that the prime suspect, the husband, has been arrested. The other accused individuals are currently out on bail, but the police have stated that they will be apprehended once their bail is revoked.
