Lahore (Pakistan News) Special customs court, Lahore accepted the bail plea of PIA air hostess arrested in foreign currency smuggling case on Wednesday, the accused was arrested from Lahore airport before departure for Dubai.
According to News channel Geo News, the court granted the bail to airhostess and order to submit surety bond of 5 lakh rupees, it was stated in the decision that the lawyer of the accused told the court, the accused is performing airhostess duty for twenty years and no criminal case exists against her in these two decades, investigation is also complete, so accept the bail after arrest. The said court also referred to the High Court judgment of model Ayan Ali case.
Keep in mind that custom’s lawyer told the court earlier that flight was ready to leave for Dubai and the accused kept a large amount of foreign currency with her in socks, which was recovered from her on the spot.
