Local Holiday announced on August 31 in Kasur

Lahore (Pakistan News) Deputy Commissioner Captain (r) Aurangzeb Haider Khan has declared a local holiday in the Kasur district on August 31, 2024, on the Urs of the noted Sufi poet and philosopher Hazrat Bulleh Shah.

This Urs, which marks great cultural and spiritual significance, will start from August 30 and continue for three consecutive days. While the official notification in this regard has already been issued by the DC Kasur, declaring Saturday as a holiday in view of the Urs, to be actively participated in by the people.

The program celebrating him attracts a lot of devotees and followers from all over Pakistan. During this week-long celebration, activities include poetry recitations, musical performances, and spiritual gatherings in honor and commemoration of the life and teaching of Hazrat Bulleh Shah.
