UAE starts crackdown against companies who hires workers after reaching on a visit visa

Dubai (Pakistan News) United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has started a crackdown against companies that employ foreigners on visit visas.

According to the news website ‘ProPakistani’, the government has amended the labor laws to discourage the employment of foreigners visiting the UAE on visit visas. In these amendments, stricter penalties have been implemented for those who employ foreigners with visit visas.

Under the new laws, individuals or companies who employ foreigners without proper permits will be fined between 1 lakh and 10 lakh dirhams. Director of ECH Digital Ali Saeed Al Kaabi said that earlier this fine was 50 thousand to 2 lakh dirhams, which has been increased now.
