Lahore (Pakistan News) users are complaining about internet speed and dis-connectivity in Pakistan and Now Pakistan Telecommunication authority (PTA) revealed four reasons in their answer submitted in the court.
According to dunya news, PTA has admitted before the Lahore High court that internet speed is slow across the country. The PTA lawyer said that there are 4 reasons for the slow internet speed, on 15th August there was a cyber-attack on the Indian National Day due to which the internet became slow.
Then Internet speed was affected due to undersea cable cut.
On 31st July at 1 o’clock in the afternoon, due to improper training of the Internet provider company, the speed compromised, after that strict action was taken against the concerned and the employees were suspended.
The PTA lawyer said further that for the sake of better experience, users installed VPN and due to excessive use of VPN, internet speed was also affected.
The court directed the petitioner to amend the petition and file it again. PTA, federal government and information minister also submitted their replies but the said court rejected the reply of the lawyer of the federal government.
