Lahore (Pakistan News) The National Savings Division conducted the 99th draw for the Rs15,000 Prize Bond on August 15, 2024, in Multan, and the winning bond numbers have been announced.
According to details, the first prize of PKR 3,000,000 has been awarded to bond number 439845. Additionally, three lucky winners have each received the second prize of PKR 1,000,000, with the winning bond numbers being 394976, 498391, and 555206.
As is customary, a large number of participants are eagerly awaiting the detailed list of smaller prizes. A total of 1,696 winners will each receive PKR 18,500.
Prize bonds are a popular financial instrument in Pakistan, issued by the National Savings Division. Unlike typical investments, prize bonds do not offer interest. Instead, they provide the opportunity to win substantial cash prizes through quarterly draws. These bonds are backed by the government, and the draws are conducted under the supervision of the State Bank of Pakistan.
Participants essentially lend money to the government by purchasing these bonds, with the hope that their bond numbers will be drawn as winners. This system not only provides individuals with a chance to win big but also contributes to the nation’s financial resources.
