Islamabad (Pakistan News) new plan of Pakistan Telecommunication authority (PTA) is ready to block mobile phone sims in three phases.
Dunya news told citing sources the PTA got data from NADRA and Subscriber Identification Modules (SIMs) will be blocked in three phases. In first phase, the sims will be blocked which are registered against fake and cancelled ID cards. The sims registered against expired ID card will be closed in second phase, while in last phase, the phone sims which are registered on the name of deceased persons, will be closed.
Sources told that users started receiving messages from PTA, this plan of action will be start on august 16, after Independence Day.
