Mumbai (Pakistan News) In a surprising and controversial incident, a hoarding featuring a picture of former porn star Mia Khalifa has caused an uproar in Tamil Nadu’s Kanchipuram district.

The hoarding was put up for the ‘Aadi’ festival, a significant religious event in which the goddess Parvati is worshipped across temples in Tamil Nadu.

The festival, celebrated with grandeur in various villages, sees participation from thousands of devotees and lasts for several days. As part of the festivities, hoardings were installed near the Nagathamman and Seliamman temples in Koruvimalai.

The controversy erupted when one of the hoardings, intended to honor the deities, included an edited image of Mia Khalifa holding a traditional milk pot (‘Paal Kudam’), which is a customary offering during the festival. The image went viral, sparking outrage and disbelief among the local community.

The individuals responsible for the hoarding had also ensured that their own names appeared prominently on the banner, styled in a manner resembling Aadhaar cards.

Following the outcry, the police intervened and promptly removed the hoarding.

Mia Khalifa has since left the adult film industry and has publicly advised young women to avoid entering the industry, warning them to stay away from those who make enticing offers for such work.
