Me too, Aima Baig announce to start campaign in Pakistan

Lahore, Jeddah (Pakistan News) known Pakistani singer Aima baig announced after umrah and participating jeddah season to start campaign on “Me Too” in Pakistan to empower women.

According to express news Urdu digital, Aima Baig said in the story of her official Instagram handle that after performing Umrah I have gained a lot of courage and I feel that the ‘Me Too’ campaign is very important to empower the women of my country and protect them from cheating people.

The singer said that for a long time I have seen many predatory people who have ruined the lives of girls but I was silent till now due to a few reasons. “I will always be ashamed of my silence but now I am announcing that I am going to start the ‘Me Too Movement’ very soon, I will raise my voice for women” she added.

She said that through this movement, I will send a message that we women are not a toy or a joke, but we are the reason for the existence of men in this world, so we should be respected.

The singer appealed to the women to raise their voice against oppression and abuse through this Me-Too movement because many girls are facing mental and physical pain.

“I have a list of names of some people who have oppressed women, we will work with arguments and evidence and help all women” the singer added.
