Overstayers and their sponsors, despite having valid residence permits, are being deported for failing to comply with the terms of the visit visa regulations and the commitments they signed.

The crackdown came after the General Department of Residency Affairs Investigation discovered that a number of women had allowed their husbands and children to overstay in the country. Now legal action is being taken against these sponsors and their visitors.

Kuwaiti authorities urge visitors to leave the country according to visa terms to avoid further legal consequences.
