Lahore (Pakistan News Online) Pakistani stars Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed are ready to win the hearts of their Pakistani and Indian fans as their long-awaited web series, ‘Barzakh,’ has finally been released.
The first episode of ‘Barzakh’ was released on the Indian YouTube channel Zindagi and the streaming website Zee5. This series marks the on-screen reunion of Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed after almost 12 years. The duo was last seen together in the blockbuster drama series ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai,’ which was immensely popular in both Pakistan and India.

Written and directed by Pakistani filmmaker Asim Abbasi, ‘Barzakh’ has been produced by Indian producers specifically for the Indian streaming website Zee5. In ‘Barzakh,’ Fawad Khan (Sheheryar) and Sanam Saeed (Sheherzaad) play step-siblings, bringing the two stars back to Indian screens after a long hiatus.
The first episode, which is 53 minutes long, has been well-received by both Indian and Pakistani fans, with millions already having watched it. The first episode was released on July 19, and the streaming website has announced that new episodes of the series will be released every Tuesday and Friday at 8 PM.
The series ‘Barzakh’ was filmed at the popular tourist destination Hunza and in Karachi. In addition to Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed, the cast includes Ayesha Gilani, Eman Suleman, Khushhal Khan, Anika Zulfikar Ali, Salman Shahid, Franco Guist, and other talented actors.
