Lahore (Pakistan News Online) According to Indian media reports citing ICC sources, the highly anticipated clash between Pakistan and India in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy is scheduled for March 1 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
Due to security concerns, all of India’s matches are planned to be held in Lahore. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently submitted a draft schedule to the ICC, placing Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh in Group A.
Group B includes Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan. All participating member countries have assured the ICC of their support for the Champions Trophy. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will make a decision regarding participation after consulting with the government. The proposed dates for the tournament are from February 19 to March 9, with March 10 reserved as a potential final match day.
